Conjugation of “Be” (be), full & contracted form

The contracted form is especially used in spoken English. In written English, the contracted form is reserved for familiar register.

How do we use “be”?
Use “be” to ask for someone’s name, nationality, age, health, and to answer questions:
“What’s your name?”
“My name is Thomas.”“What‘s your nationality?”
“I‘m Spanish.”“How old are you?”
“I‘m eleven.”
This, that, these, those
This (plural = these), and That (plural = those) are adjectives or demonstrative pronouns.
This and these are used to designate something that is close to you.
That and those are used to designate something that is far from you.
“This lesson is easy.”
“Look at that tree!”
