“Jimmy is 70, he is retired. His wife, Elizabeth, is 60. Jimmy is retired, he doesn’t work. Elisabeth is a part-time teacher, she works in Saint Pierre.

In the morning, they wake up at five o’clock and go for a walk. They come back home at six o’clock and have breakfast. Jimmy eats fried eggs and bacon, Elizabeth eats toast and jam.

At eight o’clock Elizabeth goes to work. Sometimes Jimmy watches TV, sometimes Jimmy goes into the garden.

At twelve o’clock Elizabeth comes home. They have lunch at twelve thirty. They sometimes have Chinese food.

In the afternoon, Jimmy and Elizabeth watch the news on TV. They like to watch sports.”
